I agree, this one of my all time favorite shows! The second set is extrordinary, and the sound/mix quality of these various sources are all superb! Dynamite separation, and Weir is really slashing some fine leads throughout, particularly during the jammed out China/Rider segue!

Some folks think it contains a best ever Greatest Story, but Im blown away by by the jazzed out WRS! Gets me thinking Becker and Fagen.

As you pointed out, the Dark Star> Eyes of the World suite is amazing. There is a passage where Jer stops playing for several minutes during Eyes and the Bob and Phil interplay is extremely fine...

I don't think he was talking to hiself, but you never know ? LOL The first part of that DS there was interesting exchanges (if that's a better term) between Jer and Phil, did you listen?

lol.... I agree Bobby and Jerry sound almost alike especially on those early TeddyGoodbear recording.
